My Dad Hates the Tattoos, He doesn’t necessarily understand them and what they mean. He would ask”why do you have a giant ass pomegranate on your arm” and I would say “cause it’s cool.”

“The tattoo is from greek mythology and it has to deal with the story of Persephone and Hades and the Pomegranate. Persephone had eaten six pomegranate seeds, it was decided that for six months of each year, she must return to the underworld with Hades, on Mabon, and winter would come to the world. In spring she would once again return to her mother, allowing the earth to bloom.”

“I grew up with greek mythology. More so the Percy Jackson books and in the books, a huge part of being a Demigod is having ADHD which I also have so I related to these books. It was empowering.”

“We worked together. She thought I was younger and over xmas break we had a short conversation. I came back to work during the summer and Angel (a mutual friend) asked if I liked Sabrina and gave me her number.”

“I just got out of high school so I don’t necessarily know what I want to be. I am going to school for psychology, so maybe a guidance counselor.”

“I miss home at times but I like the harmony of 8 months at school and 4 months home. The new found freedom is great.”

“I feel like we are still in that “honeymoon phase” because we don’t bicker or anything like that. I know we are going to schools that are far from each other but I could see us staying together.”
